AZIENDA AGRICOLA PUROVINO
Purovino Agricultural Company is a small estate covering 11 hectares, including 3.5 hectares of vineyards, located in the heart of Maremma, a region known for producing exquisite wines. In this magnificent setting, not far from the Tyrrhenian Sea, tradition and innovation blend perfectly.
The mechanical cultivation of the land, without the use of herbicides and synthetic chemicals, meticulous pruning, hand-harvesting of grapes, careful selection of grapes, and sulfite-free winemaking, represent the strength and added value of the Company.
In the vineyard: only copper and sulfur are used for vine defense, integrated pest management is employed for pest control, and mechanical soil cultivation is practiced for weed control. Organic fertilizer and cover crop seeding (leguminous herbs, crucifers, and grasses) are used for soil fertilization.
In the cellar: thanks to the patented method, high-quality and long-lasting wines are produced without the addition of sulfites.
