RUFFINO

Located among the Florentine hills, the Poggio Casciano estate welcomes you to spend a day dedicated to wine, history and art together. Visits with tasting take place by appointment, from Monday to Friday. The visit lasts approximately an hour and a half and includes: ‘Discovering the history of wine in Tuscany and the world of Ruffino; ‘ Visit to the estate and the private museum of ancient prints; ‘ Guided tour of the winemaking cellar and barrel cellar, with introduction to winemaking and aging techniques; ‘ Tasting of selected Ruffino wines, with proposals for different tasting itineraries and the possibility of pairing them with typical products.

How to get

By car: Exit A1 Firenze Sud. Follow the SS 222 towards Greve in Chianti – Siena; Cross the town of Gassina, turn left towards San Polo in Chianti – Figline Val D’Arno, SP 56; after about 1 km from the town of Capannuccia, on the left is the villa of Poggio Casciano, in via di Poggio al Mandorlo, 1.
